There are a few important schedule changes!!

The game this Saturday 3/6 against Plano has been switched to play Jesuit at 9:30 AM at Glencoe Park in Dallas . That's right! A morning game! Be at the field at 8:15 AM. You'll have the rest of the day to do the chores your Mom has for you.

Our Alliance game on 3/27 has been moved to Lake Highlands Park, Dallas with a time yet to be set. It will be a tournament style format where we play teams from the Austin area too.

See you at practice Thursday and then bright and early Saturday morning.

The Grand Prairie Mavericks host the Canterbury School at Prairie Park at 1:00 this Saturday 2/27.

Players please arrive at 11:30 to assist in setting up the field. Allen players will be present to fill out the side after completing their U15 game in Plano, arriving close to 12:30.

Get to practice, we need it!

Mother Nature is not cooperating.

If you know of an indoor facility or turf field we could use for about 3-4 hours on a Sunday afternoon/evening or Wed. night let me know.

If you have not yet CIPPed yourself with USA Rugby, the structure has changed. As of this week, the total initial dues to be paid online to USA Rugby has increased to $55. USA Rugby has started charging the Texas Rugby dues (SBRO) up front. Originally, the team paid this out of your club dues and you would only have to pay $20 to USA Rugby. Now you must pay the $55 up front.

Following the directions on the Registration/Dues page, you will be charged the initial $55. Your remaining club dues are now reduced to $45. $55 + $45 = $100 total dues. You can write a check for $45 to Maverick Rugby or bring cash to one of the team officers (adults). CIPP yourself first.

This does not affect those who have paid their dues already.

After many weeks, the weather finally looks promising for rugby. The game against Alliance is set for 1:30 in Keller. Please show up to the pitch around noon. The directions are on the schedule page of our web site.

Don't forget your mouthpiece and make sure you are CIPPed today!

The North Texas Rattlers is the all-star team that represents North Texas. This team will go to Texas A&M and compete against teams from the South and Central Texas. Selections from this event will be made for the Texas All-Star team.

From the intersection of Park Blvd. and Independence Drive in Plano, go north to the first set of lights and turn right onto Parkhaven. Go about a block and turn into the Haggard School parking lot. The PSHS field for the Rattlers practice on will be directly south of and adjacent to the parking lot.

Take George Bush Turnpike to Independence Drive, exit and go north on Independence to Park Blvd.

or Dallas North Tollway to Park Blvd exit and go east to Independence.

or Central Expressway to Park Blvd exit. and go west to Independence.
